Is this the worlds fastest police car?

This Police Cars Will Make You Think Twice Speeding!

Think you’ve got it all planned out? Done a dry run? Know the inside of the bank like the back of your hand? Got a getaway driver with cooler gloves than Ryan Gosling in Drive? Sounds like you could have a successful heist on your hands… as long as you don’t run into one of these babies!

Lotus Evora S Police Car

Accelerating from 0-62mph in 4.6 seconds with a top speed of 178mph the Lotus Evora S Police Car will be on tough cookie to outrun!

Lotus have teamed up with British police in a bid to tackle the festive season’s notorious ‘drink driving’ culture. Even though a monkey could tell you that it’s a horrible idea to get in your car after a few drinks apparently people just won’t stop doing it!

Christmas is the worst time of year for this kind of dangerous driving with more drunk driving accidents happening now than any other time of the year.

Officers from  Norfolk, Suffolk, Essex, Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire and Cambridgeshire will be part of this European-wide campaign to spread awareness of drink driving and the other 3 most common causes of road traffic accidents; speeding, driving while talking on the phone and not wearing a seatbelt.

The new Lotus Evora S Police Car isn’t exactly aimed at bank robbers but we’re sure they’d come in handy if faced with a gang of stocking wearing chancers.

Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4 – Polizia di Stato

If you haven’t already guessed this fine specimen belongs to the Italian police. As well as being super fast, top speed of 203 mph, from 0 to 62 mph in 3.7 seconds, they are equipped with life saving defibrillators and a fridge to keep donor organs cool in transit!

Ferrari FF, Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4  and the Aston Martin One-77

Does the double F stand for ‘female friendly’? We don’t know, but what we do know is that these super cars are driven exclusively by the female officers in Dubai. Hitting 208 mph and going from 0 to 62 mph in 3.7 seconds it’s a force to be reckoned with!

Dubai’s awesome fleet doesn’t end with the Ferrari. They also have a Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4 with a top speed of 217 mph (349 km/h) and the ability to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph (97 km/h) in 2.9 seconds!

If that’s not fast enough for you then maybe you’ll be impressed by the Aston Martin One-77 that the Dubai police spent a massive $2 million on in May. Being only one of 77 ever made and able to hit 220 mph, from 0 to 60 mph 3.5 seconds we hope to God they take it to a great brake centre.

This just goes to prove that you don’t need to turn to a life of crime to get your hands on an ultra cool car. Quite the opposite really! Fight crime and get behind the wheel of some of the worlds best cars, we think that’s a brilliant message.
